Tinga was originally built to attract touists to Zakouma it is a comfortable lodge, astectically there are prettier camps in Africa but few offer this kind of experince, and so, dont expect to much and you will probably be happily surprised. The staff are super friendly. All rooms at Tinga have individual mosquito nets and ceiling fans. Tinga has a fully equipped restaurant and bar.
African Parks have plans to further update Tinga Camp before next safari season which we understand will see the rooms being smartened up and windows enlarged. Tinga sits on the banks of the Bahr Tinga River in a grove of impressive old Tamarind Trees.
Each of the comfortable cottages have en-suite facilities and there is a large dining area with wonderful views over the surrounding bush that will serve a mix of Chadian foods with more traditional Western cuisine. The camp is in the heart of an excellent game viewing area so to explore.
