There are also five beautifully appointed and fully equipped holiday houses available for hire. The Lodge also provides a breathtaking backdrop for weddings and conferences. Not only is Okonjima a luxury lodge, but it is also home to The AfriCat Foundation, a non-profit organisation, committed to long-term conservation of Namibia's large carnivores, especially cheetahs and leopards. A visit to Okonjima will give you an opportunity to witness some of AfriCat's work. The NEW, Plains Camp design honours the Okonjima cattle-farming history. In the early 1920’s, Okonjima became a cattle farm and was bought by Val (VJ) & Rose Hanssen in 1970. They were well-established Brahman breeders and continued to farm cattle until the need for solutions to increasing livestock losses became pertinent and post-independence interest in Namibia as a tourist destination, escalated. In 1993, the herds of Brahman and Jersey cattle were sold, changing the face of Okonjima as well as that of Carnivore Conservation! STANDARD ROOMS: Each of the 14 Standard Rooms enjoy a view across the Okonjima grass plains! VIEW ROOMS: The 10 exclusive and spacious View Rooms, all have a view across the Okonjima grass plains! The OKONJIMA activities include tracking rehabilitated carnivores on foot; visiting the AfriCat Carnivore Care & Information Centre; tracking leopards from a game–viewing vehicle. OKONJIMA also offers a guided Bushman Trail. Birding and Game drives are offered on request and if guests stay longer than 2 days.

Situated a mere 32km from Etosha National Park’s Anderson Gate, Mondjila offers prospective visitors to the park affordable accommodation in a natural setting.

The word “Mondjila” is borrowed from the oshi-wambo language and means “to be on your way to somewhere/to be on the road”.

The main building has a restaurant ,bar and a guest lounge.There is an outside boa and open-fire pit, great venues for evening conversation, sipping night-caps and gazing at the beautiful Namibian night skies. In an otherwise flat area Halali Campsite is perched between a few hills and koppies. Thicker vegetation makes this popular with leopard, rhino and elephant. Situated halfway between Namutoni and Okaukuejo, the Halali Campsite is centrally located in close proximity of some of the most popular waterholes of the Etosha National Park. A short walk will take you to the camp’s floodlit waterhole with excellent day and night game viewing. ‘Halali’ is the German word for the traditional ending of a hunt. The campsite signifies the end of game hunting and the rise of eco-tourism in Namibia. Halali offers active guests the largest pool in the park and its strategic location between Namutoni and Okaukuejo makes it a great stopover for lunch, ice cream, a cool drink or just petrol.

Dolomite Resort is located in the western region of Etosha National Park. The resort boasts three deluxe chalets with a Jacuzzi and seventeen bush chalets. At the entry to Sossusvlei is Sesriem Canyon, At the foot of the gorge, which plunges down to 30 to 40 m, are pools that become replenished after good rains. Located perfectly at the entry to Sossusvlei inside the park gate is Sesriem Camping, right beside the gate into the desert and just a short drive from Sesriem Canyon where centuries of erosion have incised a narrow gorge about 1 km in length. It is perfect for campers who want to experience the beauty of the Namib Desert with the sun setting over the Elim dune then the stars emerging until they fill the sky above you and the clicking of the desert barking Geckos and distant howl of the Jackal. Sit by the fire and imagine what you will. After a good nights rest its up early (one hour before sunrise) for a drive to the sossusvlei wherer you can climb a sand dune and watch the colours change as the sun rises over the horizon slipping its morning warmth over the Namib desert dunes. Sesriem derives its name from the time when earlier pioneers tied six lengths of rawhide thongs (riem) together to draw water from the pools. Accommodation at Sesriem is provided in 24 campsites. Facilities found there include a gas station, convenience store and a secure parking area.

Large old camel thorn trees greet camping guests at the Desert Horse Campsite in a small valley of the Aus Mountains. Each of the ten sites is equipped with a tap, table, grill and windbreak. Neat shower and toilet facilities are within easy reach of each site. Barbecue packs are available at the reception of Desert Horse Inn (1.5 km); those who like to skip cooking for a change are more than welcome at the Inn's restaurant (subject to space available, please enquire upon arrival). Note there are no power point outlets at the Desert Horse camp. If you have equipment that need to be charged it can be done at reception of Desert Horse Inn.

Hobas Camp is the campsite at the start of the hiking trail at the north end of the Fish River Canyon. The camping site at Hobas is one of the few in the area offering shady trees to camp amongst. There are 14 campsites set among shady trees at the top end of Fish River Canyon. Campsite amenities include ablution facilities, braai/BBQ area, swimming pool and a kiosk selling basics and cool drinks.

Nestled in tranquil desert surroundings and overlooking the Hardap Reservoir, Hardap Campsite offers guests a camping experience in Mariental, Namibia. The establishment features 28 campsites which come equipped with power points and ablution facilities with hot water. Guests can dine at the resort restaurant. Other resort facilities available to campers include a swimming pool and a shop. Activities in the surroundings include game viewing, guided walks, hiking, swimming and fishing.
