Amanzi River Camp in Noordoewer, Namibië, is de ideale stopover tijdens jouw Namibische avontuur, maar het is ook dé perfecte locatie voor een ontspannen break van de stress van de stad. Kom en ontspan samen met ons aan de oevers van de Oranjerivier in Noordoewer, Namibië. Amanzi River Camp ligt aan de noordelijke oever van de Oranjerivier, 16 km stroomafwaarts van de Noordoewer grenspost (halverwege tussen Kaapstad en Windhoek).
Overnacht hier op weg naar andere bestemmingen, óf breng je vakantie met ons door, in een omgeving die je geen andere keuze laat dan alle stress totaal te vergeten.
De camping heeft schone sanitaire voorzieningen met hete douches en een goede waterdruk, beschermde kampeerplekken, mooie groene gazons met veel schaduw en een prachtig uitzicht over de rivier op de spectaculaire Geelkrans Kliffen aan de oevers aan de overkant.
Alle caravans en trailers zijn welkom. Er is een goedgevulde bar en hout, frisdrank, ijs en vlees kan ook worden ingekocht. Vers brood is dagelijks in Noordoewer (10 km) beschikbaar.
Populaire attracties zijn raften en kanoën, vogelspotten en vissen. Op slechts 10 minuten lopen van de camping bevinden zich San rotsschilderingen. Een ritje naar de Fish River Canyon en Ais-Ais zijn goede dag excursies en de tracks in het Tandijeskoppe zijn een must voor mountainbike liefhebbers! Under tall shady trees on the bank of a dry riverbed nature lovers find attractive and well-shielded camping sites (distance to the Fish River Canyon: about 24 km). Toilets and bathroom facilities are built from the area's natural stones. The flat hillock behind the camping site affords grand vistas of the scenery and lends itself as just the spot for sundowners. Camping guests are welcome to use the swimming pool at Canyon Roadhouse (a 2 minutes' walk) as well as the restaurant and bar. There you won't only enjoy the break from your campsite cooking but you will also find yourself carried back to the good old time of the automobile: you dine amidst lovingly arranged bodywork and other exhibits of yesteryear's transportation.

Large old camel thorn trees greet camping guests at the Desert Horse Campsite in a small valley of the Aus Mountains. Each of the ten sites is equipped with a tap, table, grill and windbreak. Neat shower and toilet facilities are within easy reach of each site. Barbecue packs are available at the reception of Desert Horse Inn (1.5 km); those who like to skip cooking for a change are more than welcome at the Inn's restaurant (subject to space available, please enquire upon arrival). Note there are no power point outlets at the Desert Horse camp. If you have equipment that need to be charged it can be done at reception of Desert Horse Inn.

Okaukuejo is located 17 km from the southern entrance of the park, Anderson Gate. Okaukuejo is the oldest tourist camp in Etosha and it also functions as the administrative centre of the park. Okaukuejo is also home to the Etosha Ecological Institute. It is situated at the western end of the Etosha Pan. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, shop, swimming pool, kiosk and camp sites. The main attraction of this camp is that it overlooks a permanent waterhole which is floodlit at night. Here a wide diversity of wildlife congregate and interact from lion to rhino to elephant and antelope. The spectacle starts at dawn, with animals coming in large numbers to quench their thirst. The activity continues throughout the day until late at night. In the early evenings, it is not uncommon to have black rhino, elephant and lion all drinking at the same time.

Nunda River Lodge, situated in the Kavango east region of Namibia, is an experience seldom encountered in the Southern African continent with its homely relaxed atmosphere enhanced with a true African wildlife experience. Nunda, the local Thimbukushu name given to the fruit of the Jackalberry tree, is situated on the Okavango River in the homeland of the Hambukushu tribe. Nunda River Lodge is centrally situated as a destination in itself.

The Khama Rhino Sanctuary Campsite has 22 campsites, including sites for large groups. The central feature of each site is a large Mokongwa tree which provides both character and shade. There is also a fireplace, braai stand with grill, and tap with birdbath. The campsites are served by two communal ablution blocks. There's a curio shop that sells various local crafts, books, maps, souvenirs and postcards. Wood for fires and braais can be bought here, as well as ice, cold drinks and basic provisions. Also found on-site is an excellent spot for day-visitors to relax and enjoy the peace of the Sanctuary. Visitors can make use of seating, tables, water and braai-stands for their picnic. The restaurant is open to delight day visitors, chalet guests and campers with a variety of tasty traditional dishes as well as delicious regular items. There's also have a swimming pool, which is ideal for cooling and refreshing.
