Nungubane Game Lodge is an intimate and luxurious private game lodge situated in the Welgevonden Game Reserve. Welgevonden Game Reserve is considered to be one of the most spectacular and breathtaking wilderness areas in South Africa. Nungubane Game Lodge is set high in Welgevonden’s mountainous, malaria-free terrain overlooking valleys and kloofs, dissected by areas of open plains and rolling grasslands. The lodge can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests in 5 suites. Each of the suites has a double bed configuration with full en-suite bathroom and outside shower, fireplace and tea and coffee making facilities. The reserve is home to the big 5 and morning and evening/night safaris are offered daily.

5 luxury suites each with double bed configuration. The suites are all positioned to ensure absolute privacy and the decks provide a vantage over the Welgevonden Game Reserve. Exclusive, secluded and stately, Makweti Safari Lodge is located in the pristine, malaria-free, Welgevonden Private Reserve in the Limpopo Province.

Just five stately stone and thatch suites reflect the rich colours and textures of the earth. Suites are a study in cream fabrics, highlighted with hand painted accents and dark furnishings along with slipper, baths and outdoor showers.

Private teak decks afford views into the far distance, some with private plunge pools and a secluded sala inviting you to relax, read and soak up the surrounding stillness.
