Nestled between palm forest and the dunes lining the Southern Mozambican coastline, this is simple luxury at its best: quality, comfort and never too “done”. The lodge’s guided afternoon bushwalks introduce travelers to a picture book of rural African living: people busy with traditional food preparations, small scale farming and magnificent baobab trees, hidden in a sea of coconut palms.
The secluded casas have spacious decks, with hammocks and ensuite outdoor showers with panoramic views over the palm grove and ocean. All buildings are set on raised wooden decks with roll-up canvas walls under a thatched roof and in close proximity to the beach. The lodge is entirely solar powered – ensuring a light environmental footprint.
