Plains Camp Home of Rhino Walking Safaris | Kruger National Park

Rhino Walking Safaris specialises in luxury walking safaris in 12,000 hectares of pristine bushveld in the only wilderness concession situated in the Kruger National Park. The concession shares a 15km unfenced boundary with the famous Mala Mala and Sabi Sands Reserve, with an abundance of wildlife moving freely between the two reserves. A maximum of 8 guests are accommodated in luxury African Explorer Style tents at Plains Camp. Early morning walks lasting between 3-4 hours are led by 2 highly experienced rangers in the heart of Big 5 territory. Days are spent relaxing in the comfort of the 19th century naturalist retreat reading, relaxing at the plunge pool while viewing game on the plains. After a sumptuous high tea guests go out for a short late afternoon walk, sundowners in the bush & then meet the vehicle to track nocturnal creatures well into the night. After a delicious dinner fireside tales are enjoyed under inky blue skies.

Masuwe Lodge | Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Masuwe Lodge is located just 7 kms from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, it overlooks the Masuwe River and is surrounded by 1000 hectares (almost 2500 acres) of private wildlife sanctuary. The lodge offers accommodation in nine Wilderness Tents and one romantic Hide-Away. Each is constructed of canvas, thatch and stone and has a private en-suite bathroom and a private outdoor deck with views of wilderness and wildlife. There is also a Family Nest, built in the style of a farm homestead offering two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an outdoor living area with braai (BBQ) and private plunge pool. A range of guided activities are available such as visits to Victoria Falls and a tour of the Falls; game driving in the neighbouring National Park and guided bush walks. Masuwe includes transfers to town for other activities such as white water rafting, helicopter flights etc.
