Set in lush gardens amid forest and crystal clear waters on the slopes of Mount Meru, Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge is a wonderful place to relax and simmer in the immense beauty of East Africa. The Lodge has been adapted from an early colonial farmhouse built in the early 20th century and it is one of the oldest family lodges in Arusha. It offers only 10 garden rooms, 2 main house suites and pool cottage with 2 bedrooms, and provides personal service for its residents since 1974. Here you can spend the days amid nature, watching the changing colors of the Kilimanjaro glaciers while sipping drinks on the verandah or hiking in the forest inhabited by colobus and Sykes monkeys as well as hundreds of small animal and bird species. The Lodge is located only 30 minutes away from Kilimanjaro International Airport and Arusha town center and it is a perfect base while on safari in the northern circuit Tanzania.

WAYO MANYARA GREEN CAMP
WATERFALLS AND ELEPHANTS
Set beneath the crashing cascades of the Endabash Waterfall, this breath-taking camp sits on the edge of a dry river bed. Set away from game drive tracks and one of only a handful of camps in this park, our Manyara camp benefits from both privacy and tranquility. The aspect looks out onto the towering rift and forested, peaceful peaks. This camp redefines Lake Manyara National Park. The Wayo Manyara Camp, its surroundings and the wildlife around make it one of the best bush camps in the region.
The camp is made up of 8 spacious tents each enjoying attached bathrooms. Set on decks, the arrangement provides guests with a raised view and solid wooden floors underfoot. Each tent benefits from a king-sized bed which can be arranged as a twin as required. The structure and interiors have all been locally crafted linking to our commitment to empowering local people. The roof is gauze; revealing the stars via an automatic retractable system and much of the wooden features have been reclaimed from our previous camp.

Gibb's Farm is located on the forested outside slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater in Northern Tanzania, overlooking the centuries old Great Rift Valley. It is an excellent base from which to explore the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, which can be done as easy day trips from the farm. Gibb's Farm is a working Tanzanian coffee farm, established in the late 1920's and refurbished as a warm, rustic luxury inn. From well appointed cottages overlooking the magnificent gardens, guests can relax and savor the tranquil environment. Gibb’s Farm imparts a sense of well being, tranquility and history, deeply rooted in East African culture and community, a welcome retreat for a few days’ respite while on safari or for an extended vacation or honeymoon getaway. The 21 cottages each feature a unique theme, richly appointed with eucalyptus floors and handcrafted furniture. A cottage with a common living area and two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms is available for families or couples travelling together. Inside, beautiful architectural details, such as the farmhouse’s original wooden beams, and colorful artwork reflect the inspiration of local African artists. Wayo Serengeti Green Camp is a seasonal camp which follows the main wildebeest events during the year. This camp is located in the southern regions of the Serengeti National Park and captures the herds as they reach the lower plains for calving seasons.

Our Wayo Serengeti Green Camp features our newly designed tents sewn by local teams located on the boundary of Arusha National Park. The offering further extends our iconic Wayo mesh-sided tents to be 180 degrees creating a picture-window frontage and taking the inside-outside experience to another level.
Encased in a beautiful stretch canvas overhead, tents sensitively blend into the landscape whilst also providing shade and privacy. There are ensuite bathrooms with low-flush toilets and bucket showers.
