The Umoja Journey is a guided road trip through some of the world’s most exotic places. More than just an adventure, it’s ‘adventure with purpose’, designed for entrepreneurs and thrill seekers looking for a new experience that allows them to actively engage in global change. The ‘adventure’ aspect of the journey is designed so that guests can enjoy the fruits of their labours by appreciating the beauty in nature around them. The ‘purpose’ aspect of the journey, however, takes participants off the beaten path to witness life as it is lived in impoverished communities where people struggle with nutrition, health, education and other social justice issues. Our goal is to inspire participants to move beyond mere financial success as a life goal towards living and leaving a legacy of greater social significance by applying their energies and resources to support sustainable development initiatives around the world.

International Needs Canada (INCA) & Earth Trek Unlimited Inc. (ETU) shall not be liable for any inadvertent delay in the issuing of an invoice or any supporting document related thereto (i.e., quotations, proposals, etc.), or any omission or error contained in such invoice or supporting document provided that such delays, errors or omissions be rectified by ETU as soon as reasonably possible after the discovery of the same.
Currency movements
In an effort to simplify the booking process for our guests and clients we have translated the local currency charges into a single currency namely United States Dollars. While this facility is intended to facilitate ease of payment for our clients, the underlying liability and contractual commitment remains the original source currency. In the event of a change to the current booking this booking will be recalculated in source currency and converted to USD using the relevant exchange rate of the day as reflected on Oanda.com which may attract extra charges as a result. If a refund is due on a booking that refund will be calculated in the source currency and be paid in that source currency. We are able to pay these refunds in United States Dollars and if that is requested we will do so at the current rate of exchange which may or may different to the original rate of exchange when the booking was first made.
