TERMS & CONDITIONS

• This quote is valid for 30 Days.
• Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
• Accommodation: subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation.
• The single supplement applies
• We reserve the right to move your booking to another camp should the need arise operationally.
• Rates are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) @ 14% (Government regulated and subject to change)
• Activities on offer, rates and departure times are subject to change.
• Government rates and levies including Park Fees are subject to change without prior notice.
• Conservation, Community and Reserve fee (CCR) A non-refundable per person per night Conservation, Community and Reserve Fee (CCR) is added to each bed-night booked with Nxai Travel. The CCR is crucial for protecting wildlife, securing and managing wildlife habitats and uplifting communities in the areas in which we operate. The CCR is not applicable to children aged 0 - 5 years but does apply to children 6 years and older as well as to pilots and guides.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment Terms and Conditions

Any and all charges incurred in making payment to NXAI TRAVEL shall be borne by yourselves, irrespective of mode or form of payment made.

Cancellation of FIT

CANCELLATION OF INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS

1. A cancellation of an Individual Booking will only be valid if made in writing and shall only be effective upon its acknowledged receipt by the Company.
2. Cancellation charges shall apply as set out below:

2.1. in the event of a cancellation of a confirmed booking 61 (sixty one) days or more prior to the date on which the Services are set to commence, the full 30% (twenty percent) advance payment will be forfeited;

2.2. in the event of a cancellation 60 (sixty) to 31 (thirty one) days prior to the date on which the Services are set to commence, 50% (fifty percent) of the total payment in respect of the booking will be due and payable; and

2.3. in the event of a cancellation 30 (thirty) days or less prior to the date on which the Services are set to commence (including any "no shows"), 95% (ninety five percent) of the payment in respect of the booking will be forfeited.

PLEASE NOTE: Should your clients fail to arrive on the due arrival date, start their trip after departure or leave before its completion, no refund will be made

Important Notes

1. Whilst a booking is held on a provisional status and another booking is received accompanied by a security deposit, you will be informed in writing to secure your reservation with a deposit of 30 % within 5 working days.
2. Failure to pay the deposit within the 5 working days will result in an automatic cancellation of the entire reservation.
3. Should a booking be confirmed and the number of the pax and/or rooms are reduced, out standard cancellation fees will apply.
4. Confirmed bookings are non-transferable.

INSURANCE

It shall be the sole responsibility of every guest to arrange and effect his/her own insurance cover and to ensure that he/she and his/her dependants and travelling companions have adequate insurance cover for the duration of this booking.

The company strongly recommends that guests obtain, inter alia, the following types of insurance which are commercially available:

1. Accidental death and disability;
2. Major medical;
3. Comprehensive emergency medical evacuation;
4. Loss of personal effects; and
5. Trip cancellation

Details of the guests major medical and emergency medical evacuation insurance are to be provided to the Company on confirmation of the booking.

Malaria

Malaria including Plasmodium Falciparum exists in certain areas. All clients must consult with their own Medical Doctor, the Center for Disease Control or their national health authority regarding the use of anti-malarial tablets prior to departure. There are many brands available and we recommend that clients consult their doctor, health clinic or health department as to which brand they should take.

Luggage

Baggage is STRICTLY restricted to 20 kg (44 lb) per person (including hand luggage and camera equipment). Luggage must be soft-sided (one rigid side permitted). No hard suitcases and no bags with frames can be transported. Max. dimensions of soft bags are: 25cm (10in) wide / 30cm (12in) high / 65cm (26in) long. Excess luggage can be transferred from Maun to Kasane (or vice versa) by courier at the cost of USD 65 per bag, up to 40 kg (88 lb) (subject to change). This excess luggage fee is charged on confirmation. For trips starting and ending in Maun, large suitcases can be stored free of charge at the Natural Selection- Maun office.

Terms of payment

1. IN ORDER TO SECURE A BOOKING, WE REQUIRE A 30 % NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.
2. FULL PRE - PAYMENT / OUTSTANDING BALANCE to be received 90 DAYS PRIOR TO DATE OF TRAVEL. If payment has not been received, we reserve the right to cancel this reservation, and our cancellation policy will apply.
3.  Extras must be settled on check-out by guests
4. Any and all charges incurred in making payment to Nxai Travel shall be borne by the Company, irrespective of mode or form of payment made.
5. The onus is on the Company to ensure payment is affected and to confirm payment details directly to Nxai Travel
6. Confirmed bookings are Non-Transferable.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• No refunds are given for any services or inclusions not utilised
• Standard Terms and Conditions apply unless otherwise specified on this rates sheet
• We reserve the right to change these rates in accordance with changes of legislation
