I grew up in Cape Town and lived there all my life till 2018, when my wife and I moved to the country to a small town to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. I have been in the tourism industry for over 30 years, working in almost every area of tourism, 5 years in the car rental industry, worked as a travel agent for a year, spent over 20 years working as a tourist guide taking clients all over all of South Africa on motorbikes, in cars, vans and coaches. I also spent 10 years in the movie industry looking after high profile clients and doing precision driving. Lastly I have been a travel consultant for over 8 years. Back to the safari, when i was guiding, I was fortunate enough to have visited over 75% of the lodges in the Greater Kruger Park alone. I have first hand knowledge of what the lodges have to offer and have been on literally 100's of game drives - and still I have not seen everything and not been on enough. The Pangolin is the only animal still on my bucket list.
