Kylan’s introduction to travel began at a very young age with trips to South Africa and Thailand before he was five! It was inevitable that he join Civilized Adventures family adventures to Kenya and the Galapagos (hosted by Denell). Since then, Kylan’s love of travel has taken him to China, Jordan, and Thailand, and he has journeyed as far as Antarctica on an expedition cruise. An avid hockey player, Ky merged his loves of hockey and travel when he lived in Denmark and played on a local team. After graduating in 2012 with a business diploma, Kylan officially joined the Civilized team and embarked on a journey to Papua New Guinea as well as Australia for the Solar Eclipse (2012). Since then, he has safari'd and inspected properties in Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. He accompanied the Calgary Health Trust on their successful "Climb to Conquer Kilimanjaro" and in 2016 he joined our Civilized Adventures/Going Wild adventure cruise in Baja's Sea of Cortes.
