Santa Elena Reserve

The Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve is managed by the local public high school board of directors, and turns this tour into an activity with social - community responsibility.
The 310 hectares reserve, founded in 1992, offers a great variety of flora and wildlife, as it is located on the Caribbean slope of Costa Rica. From one of the viewpoints, you can observe the Arenal volcano and its lake when it is not cloudy. Also, the Santa Elena Reserve receives fewer visitors, which positions the activity as ideal for those who enjoy less crowded sites.
