Santa Elena Reserve
The Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve Day Tour offers a naturalist walk to explore diverse flora and fauna. The 310-hectare reserve, founded in 1992 on Costa Rica's Caribbean slope, provides views of the Arenal Volcano on clear days. The reserve is managed by the local public high school’s board of directors, making this activity one with social and community responsibility. Additionally, the Santa Elena Reserve receives fewer visitors, making it an ideal choice for those who prefer less crowded sites.
