This is a fixed date departure for this safari. Zakouma is a park that is really coming on to the safari radar as a unique and incredible wildlife area with many unique features and animals. The elephant population in this area was devastated by poaching, but as a result of African Parks ( A non profit NGO ) taking over ,they have managed to secure the park and now Zakouma is rebuilding its populations with a significant change in the populations of the resident herds of elephants and other animals. Other important species here are Kordofan Giraffe, Red Fronted Gazelle, Lewell's Hartebeest, Red Flanked and Grimms Duikers among others and an incredible array of birds.
A wonderful safari that will help to support this important area and give you a quality wildlife experience. Its rare in Africa today to have a whole park to yourself!
