During the dry season the Linyanti is home to the world's largest populations of elephant and abundant zebra, wildebeest, impala, giraffe, lechwe, reedbuck, kudu – look out for lion, spotted hyena and leopard, cheetah and wild dog. During the dry season rarer species like sable and roan emerge from the woodlands.

You'll spend three nights at the Duma Tau Camp in a fabulous setting just on the banks of the Linyanti River’s Osprey Lagoon - an exclusive combination of land and river day and night game drives and nature walks. Ten en-suite elevated tents overlooking the lagoon - simply beautiful.

Then, moving on to the Okavango Delta for three nights at Tuba Tree Camp on the western side of Hunda Island. Think elevated walkways through tree canopies and secluded tents on raised platforms, private decks, ensuite bathrooms and fabulous swimming pool with views over the plain and you won't be far off the mark.

The Okavango offers excellent game viewing and birding with the African Fish Eagle and Pel's fishing owl resident here. The elusive Sitatunga antelope can be found taking refuge in this pristine wetland ecosystem.
