Walking Trails
Our mountain trail is almost fully paved for your safety and convenience, covering a distance of approx 1.8km to the top of the mountain. The views are fantastic and a number of antelope species can be seen in the area. Don’t forget your sunscreen & water!
For a more sedate stroll, take a walk along the paved walkway & maintained grass paths winding between the dams and along the river below the hotel.

Fly Fishing
Dullstroom is best known as the country’s trout mecca. Walkersons Private Estate boasts 14 lakes and dams, stocked year-round with rainbow trout, making the estate a fly fisherman’s paradise.
Both novices and experienced fly fishermen alike are invited to try their hand at fly fishing, with a range of equipment available for hire to hotel and cottage guests. All fishing is strictly on a catch and release basis.

Horse Riding
Dullstroom Riding Centre is situated at the stables, near the Walkersons Spa. Dave & Chrissie are experienced guides and their surefooted horses cater for all levels of riders. They offer 1 & 2 hour rides, depending on availability. Short pony rides are also available by prior arrangement. Bookings can be made directly with Dave on 0824429766
