The owners Marleen and Brian are both from a food background. Brian previously worked in boutique hotels, outstanding lodges and event catering and Marleen owned a very popular French restaurant in Utrecht, The Netherlands which you had to book months in advance. Needless to say, food is a passion of theirs. The delicious and freshly prepared meals at Sable Sands are a contributing factor to their consistently high reviews. "We are a ‘Food Loving Home’, Vegan Friendly, and very passionate about cooking" Where possible the local gardens supply the fresh herbs and produce, however, due to the distance from the other suppliers (2.5 hours away) it is a good idea to pre book any dietary wishes, so the chefs can prepare their special menu for you. Don't be shy, Marleen eats a whole foods plant based diet herself!
