Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve Hiking
During this hike, you'll explore the renowned Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, one of the most important reserves in Costa Rica for its conservation efforts and scientific research. Founded in 1972 and covering 3,500 hectares, it harbors 2.5% of the world's biodiversity. The reserve's unique geographical, topographical, and climatic conditions have created four distinct 'Ecological Life Zones,' supporting diverse ecosystems. As you walk through this beautiful forest, your guide will provide valuable information about its natural history, flora, and fauna, offering an educational experience where you'll encounter a wide variety of species, from mammals and birds to plants like mosses and vines.
