Magri Turismo - Uyuni
The Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia, the world’s largest salt desert spanning over 10,000 sq km, is a mesmerizing landscape of blinding white salt crust formed by ancient lake evaporation. During the rainy season (December–April), a thin layer of water transforms the flats into a giant mirror, creating surreal reflections perfect for photography, though some areas may flood. In the dry season (May–November), the cracked salt patterns emerge, allowing easier exploration of attractions like Isla Incahuasi (Cactus Island), the Train Cemetery, and nearby colored lagoons. Sitting at 3,656m altitude, the flats offer a dreamlike experience year-round, with multi-day 4x4 tours from Uyuni town showcasing its ever-changing beauty—whether under a mirror-like sheen or a vast, crystalline expanse.
