The Camp Hwange private concession in central Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe, is a beautiful and diverse mix of multiple habitats. The scenic open grasslands that surround the rustic and intimate lodge are bordered in the north by mature mopane woodlands (on basalt and clay) and in the south by teak woodlands (on Kalahari sands). In plain language this means the area is both beautiful and productive for a wide variety of large mammal species. Game viewing is excellent, especially in the drier months of June to October.
