Lale’s Camp – ultra-remote cultural heart of the Omo
Lale’s Camp is an intimate and remote tented camp on the banks of the Omo River in the heart of southern Ethiopia’s cultural melting pot. Its raison d'être is centred around the appreciation of the tribal cultures of the lower Omo region and it is from here that excursions are made to isolated villages of Kara, Hamer and Mursi people (visiting this latter tribe requires an overnight fly camp). Remote from the main tourist circuit, guests at Lale’s are the only foreigners who visit the area, making Lale’s Camp a unique place and experience.
