The guest area at Gomoti Villas is beautifully crafted and nestled within a lush leadwood canopy, positioned on a prime island formed by one of the five main channels of the Okavango Delta—the Gomoti River, from which it takes its name. A unique feature of this setting is its panoramic view of two lagoons, offering an exceptional vantage point for wildlife viewing. Designed to reflect a vibrant and harmonious connection with nature, the guest area is adorned with bright, cheerful colors that create an inviting and uplifting atmosphere. The space features an expansive open-plan layout, seamlessly integrating a stylish bar, a comfortable lounge, and an elegant dining area—all boasting breathtaking views. An open veranda with cozy seating overlooks one of the lagoons, providing a tranquil space to relax and take in the surroundings. On the opposite side, a traditional boma area offers the perfect setting for intimate fireside evenings under the stars. Additionally, a well-stocked curio shop showcases a variety of locally crafted arts and souvenirs, while the on-site office serves as a hub for travel arrangements and guest services. Mealtimes at Gomoti Villas are always a special occasion, from simple yet delicious snacks to elaborate, carefully crafted meals—not to mention our indulgent high teas. Our day begins with an early morning wake-up call accompanied by tea, coffee, or hot chocolate, along with light snacks and fresh fruit before guests set off on their morning game activities. Breakfast is a delightful combination of a continental spread and a full English breakfast, served alongside our chef’s daily specialty. Lunch is a light and refreshing affair, featuring a selection of sandwiches, salads, and other wholesome options. This is followed by our signature high tea—a delightful spread of sweet and savory treats—before guests embark on their afternoon game drive. Dinner is a grand, three-course experience, blending traditional safari fare with the rich flavors of Botswana’s local delicacies. The evening is perfectly rounded off with a nightcap by the fireside, sharing stories under the African sky. At Gomoti Villas, we take immense pride in our exceptional service and the outstanding quality of our cuisine, ensuring that every meal is not just sustenance, but a memorable part of your safari adventure.
