In our reserve there are a variety of gardens full of life and colors. In the gardens of Talamanca Nature Reserve, you can enjoy areas for Pic-nic, lakes and beautiful landscapes. Here are some of the gardens you can see in this wonderful place: Bromeliad Garden, Crested Oropendola Garden, Ficus Garden, Guavo Garden, Rainbow Lake Garden (Lago Arco iris) and different areas for Pic-nic.

Trails
For hiking lovers, we have different trails that take you to our incredible waterfalls, gardens, and viewpoints. You can also see diversity of flora and fauna. Here are some of the hiking options that Talamanca Nature Reserve offers: • Low level: - El Salto waterfall: 2 hrs. - Old Forest: 2 hrs. • Intermediate level: - Iggy waterfall by River Trail: 3 hrs 30 min. - Milagro Trail: 2 hrs 30 min - El Salto Waterfall + Sendero la Luna: 3 hrs 30 min. • Advanced level: - Iggy´s waterfall by River Path + Miracle Path: 5 hrs. - Trail to La Casita: 7 hrs.

Waterfalls
Talamanca Nature Reserve has approximately 10 waterfalls, to visit some of them it is essential to go with a guide, others are easier to access and you can go by yourself. Some of our waterfalls are: Iggy, Hidden, El Salto, Said, La Casita, and Santiago.

Birdwatcher's Paradise
Talamanca Nature Reserve is an ideal place for bird lovers. You can see diversity of birds on short tours! These are some birds you can see here: Crested Oropendola, trogons, tanagers, honeycreepers, owls. You can see them mainly in the Old Forest, around the Garden Cabins and in the Guavo Garden.
