Drive from Windhoek to Otjiwarongo on the B1 main road.
Continue on the C38 road to Outjo.
Drive from the town of Outjo towards Khorixas, for 123 km on the C39 tar road.
Turn right onto C35 gravel road, towards Kamanjab, follow for 42 km, turn-off on the right, at sign board Ohorongo Private Game Reserve.
Along this route, you pass through the village of Fransfontein.
Look out for the Ohorongo Private Game Reserve sign board on your right.
After turning off from the C35, follow the road for 1,5km to the "Ohorongo" entrance gate.
Pass through the entrance gate and follow the road signs to the "CAMP"
Our access road from the C35 to CAMP is accessible only with 4×4 / SUV or a 2x4 SUV.
Guest can pre-arange to be picked-up at Ohorongo entrance gate, should they not be driving a 4x4 or SUV.
Gates are locked at sunset, unless by prior arrangement.
Total distance: Windhoek to CAMP is 495km.
Guests are required to inform Ohorongo of estimated time of arrival(ETA) 24hrs in advance via SMS/WhatsApp.

Drive from Swakopmund on the C34 to Hentiesbay, continue on the C35 to Uis and Khorixas.
From Khorixas, continue on the C35 from the road crossing C39/C35 on the gravel road C35 towards Kamanjab for 42 km.
Along this route you’ll pass the village of Fransfontein.
Look out for the Ohorongo Private Game Reserve sign board on your right.
After turning off from the C35, follow the road for 1,5km to the "Ohorongo" entrance gate.

Turn off right at the Ohorongo Game Reserve road sign onto the farm road no. F2659.
Follow this main farm road for 24km to Ohorongo Safaris Lodge.
Look out for our road signs indicating “Ohorongo”, along the way.

Ohorongo Game Reserve has two airfields for charter flights.
It‘s a 1 hour and 40 minute flight directly from Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport.
Please note that prior permission must be obtained to use our airstrips.
