The Grumeti Reserves is located adjacent to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park, bordering the national park, and encompasses 400,000 acres of unrivalled wilderness. Wide river valleys meandering through the plains, grass lands, woodland and forest. The area forms part of the famous migratory route, which is travelled by hundreds of thousands of animals every year. Sasakwa Lodge offers 10 luxury cottage suites on a fully inclusive basis, including transfers between Lodges and the Sasakwa airstrip, accommodation, morning tea, three meals per day served in a variety of locations, game drive snacks, high tea, bush snacks and canapés, laundry and valet services. The Lodge is situated on the top of Sasakwa Hill, with awe-inspiring views over the Grumeti Reserves and the Serengeti plains. The lodge, arguably the most luxurious in all of East Africa, is built in the grand style of an English manor home and comprises 10 cottage suites, ranging in size from one to four bedrooms.
