Sand Rivers Lodge which is located on the Rufiji River in the Selous Game Reserve, it is reputedly located in the area most frequented by wild dogs and the spectacular Sigler’s Gorge is accessible by a short boat ride!

The accommodation comprises 8 open plan stone and thatched cottages, all on raised decks overlooking the river. There are 5 Riverside rooms - with en-suite bathrooms, hot and cold running water, flush toilets and powerful showers - and 3 Hillside Suites. The Suites have all the above, but a large living space and a small plunge pool. 

The main mess is spacious, open-fronted and cool. There's a chill-out area near the library and then acres of dining spots - around the main pool, privately tucked away in a quiet corner of the mess or on the social managers table. 

Game activities are according to your preferences. Some activities may be on a shared basis with other clients staying at the lodge, and can include game drives, walking safaris, fishing & boat trips.
