Damara Mopane Lodge is located east of Khorixas and is a great starting point for visiting the surrounding attractions. The creativity of the lodges belonging to the Gondwana Collection is particularly evident in the African clay bungalows that are decorated in warm colours and adorned with drawings of the engravings of Twyfelfontein. The whole complex is designed like a village, connecting the well-appointed bungalows and main building by a labyrinth of pathways. Each bungalow is set in its own small garden that supplies the kitchen with homegrown vegetables and herbs. The large swimming pool provides welcoming cooling after a long day spent on dusty roads. The sundowner deck affords endless vistas over the vast landscape and onto the Brandberg in the distance.
