The outside facing cabins are finished to a high standard with superior quality fittings and are amongst the largest on any European river cruise. The beautifully designed marble bathrooms all feature a shower with fully glazed screen, fluffy towels and bathroom cosmetics. The living area features two comfortable chairs, a table, and a small desk. Amenities include individually controlled air-conditioning, a flat-screen high-definition satellite TV, hairdryer, safe, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. All standard cabins on the upper deck and main deck have full floor to ceiling windows which slide down halfway.

Standard cabins on the lower deck have smaller fixed windows. As a unique bonus, Stern Cabins on this deck are available for sole occupancy at no additional cost.

The cabins feature a generous living area with two armchairs, a table, small desk, tea and coffee making facilities, and cosy bathrobes. The suites feature the same high-quality furnishings and fittings as the standard cabins. The cabins offer fantastic views from floor-to-ceiling windows, with one that opens down halfway to create a cosy Juliet balcony within the suite. Guests may enjoy an aperitif at the table for two and watch the world go by.

The MS Douro Splendour boasts two deluxe balcony suites on the upper deck. These suites offer the ultimate in space and comfort during the cruise. The cabins are tastefully furnished with the same high-quality fittings as the other cabins. Most of the additional space is devoted to the living area where guests can relax in comfort on the sofa or elegant armchair in the most sumptuous of settings. The suite also features a walk-in wardrobe for the added sense of luxury plus a larger bathroom with twin wash basins. The cabins also feature a floor-to-ceiling window, plus a second full-length window which opens down halfway to create a cosy Juliet balcony within the suite, complete with a table for two.
