Scenic Game Drives
Explore the remarkable wildlife and diverse landscapes of the Palmwag Concession on a guided morning or afternoon nature drive. This approximately four-hour excursion offers the opportunity to encounter iconic species such as black rhino, desert-adapted elephants, and a variety of predators, as the concession is home to one of the largest predator populations outside of Etosha National Park. Accompanied by an experienced guide, learn about the region’s unique ecology, wildlife, and conservation efforts while enjoying spectacular scenery and excellent photographic opportunities. Full Day Damaraland Excursion
This full-day guided scenic excursion through the Palmwag Concession offers one of the best ways to experience the unique flora, fauna, and dramatic landscapes of Damaraland. Accompanied by an experienced guide, explore this vast wilderness area while learning about its wildlife, geology, and conservation significance. The varied excursion provides excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography, as well as a deeper appreciation of the region’s natural beauty. This activity requires a minimum of four participants. Refreshments and light snacks are included.


Guided Morning Hike
Join one of our guided morning walks (approximately 1.5 hours) and explore the remarkable landscapes of Damaraland on foot as your experienced guide introduces you to the smaller wildlife that thrives in the area, interprets the tracks and signs left behind by animals, and shares fascinating insights into the diverse species that call the concession home, offering a unique perspective on this extraordinary wilderness.



Half Day Rhino Tracking
Accompanied by an experienced guide, venture into the vast Palmwag Concession, one of Namibia’s premier wilderness areas and an important refuge for free-roaming black rhinos. Travel through the concession in an open game-drive vehicle while learning about the region’s unique landscapes, wildlife, and conservation efforts. Once fresh rhino tracks have been located, continue the experience on foot, following the signs left by these remarkable animals. This exciting tracking adventure offers a rare opportunity to observe one of Africa’s most iconic species in its natural habitat while gaining insight into ongoing conservation initiatives. Please note that this activity is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
