Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge
Built on the banks of one of the many channels of the Kwando–Linyanti river system, this unique Namibian wetland paradise in the eastern Zambezi Region, commonly known as Mamili and was recently renamed Nkasa Lupala National Park. The lodge is located on the northern unfenced park border, in the Wuparo Conservancy that is part of the successful and award-winning Namibian conservation programme. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants and buffaloes and attracts all the major predators including lions, leopards and hyenas in this wetland paradise along with more than 400 recorded bird species, making it a bird watchers paradise throughout the year. There are just a few luxury tented chalets set on stilts and run off solar power all en-suite with showers and baths, and activities centre around game drives, boat cruise, night drive, village bike tour and village visit. Game walks are also available. No air-con or wifi.
