Ongava Lodge

Set on the southern boundary of Etosha National Park, Ongava Lodge lies within the 45,000-hectare Ongava Game Reserve, one of the first custodians in Namibia’s Black Rhino Custodianship Programme.

Perched near the top of a hill in the foothills of the Ondundozonanandana range, the lodge looks out over a busy waterhole and the plains beyond.

Fourteen rock-and-thatch chalets, each with its own bathroom, offer comfort in the heart of the bush. From the main lounge and dining areas, the views stretch across the waterhole, and an inviting pool waits for the heat of the day. Dinner is served under thatch or out on the deck beneath the stars.

Days are spent on game drives into Etosha, on guided drives and walks across the reserve, or quietly in the waterhole hide. Ongava is home to both black and white rhino, giving guests the chance to see both species.
