Rhino Safari Camp

Rhino Safari Camp is situated on the shores of Lake Kariba, in a private concession within the Matusadona National Park. A remote wilderness area designated as an Intensive Protection Zone for a small, successful population of endangered black rhino.

Rhino Safari has seven twin bedded rooms nestled along the lake shore line. Rooms are elevated on wooden platforms with extended thatched roofs, reed half walls to allow for natural ventilation and open fronted. The twin-bedded accommodation also has en-suite open air shower, flush toilet, wardrobe, seating area and dressing table.

At the entrance to camp is the main area consisting of a double story central boma, upstairs and downstairs dining areas and a bar. Upon request, guests can book private dinners at the boma.

Activities offered include game drives, game and sunset cruises, fishing (fees excluded), game walks – often taken from the vehicle on game drives.
