At the convergence of sweeping savannahs and the Mara River’s meander, the secluded Lamai Wedge rewards with a rare sense of seclusion. Here, Nyasi unfolds in the shade of acacias, as much a part of the landscape as the trees.

A camp that embodies the wild’s tranquil side, Nyasi is designed for restoration as much as adventure. Grass-framed pathways link the tented rooms to the lounges, where guests rest between drives. A spa tent and a gym tent offer time to recover, with only canvas between you and the sounds outside. In the evenings, lanterns light the paths back to the rooms.

Accommodation
Seven tented rooms and two family suites are tucked beneath the acacias. In each, the classic safari aesthetic is reimagined with custom-designed furnishings and bespoke linen in a palette inspired by the Serengeti sky. Rooms come in king or twin configurations. Each has a dressing room with a twin vanity, and an en suite bathroom with a rainfall shower and flushing toilet. 

Each family suite has two bedrooms joined by a shared lounge, and each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. Each suite sleeps up to two adults and two children under 16. Children aged four and older are welcome, and single beds can be arranged for children up to 15. 

Experiences
At Nyasi, every day is threaded through with anticipation: crossings can happen at a moment’s notice, and when the word comes that the herds have gathered at the banks, the chase to find them is on. A private guide and vehicle are included in every stay, keeping you as close to the action as possible while ensuring the quieter hours between crossings are just as rewarding.
