Mawamba Lodge enjoys a privileged location in the heart of Tortuguero’s lush canals and national park, often referred to as the “Little Amazon of Costa Rica.” This tropical paradise is home to a rich variety of wildlife, towering trees, exotic plants, and vibrant flowers.

The lodge offers four room categories, ranging from Standard Rooms to Bungalows. Each room includes a private bathroom, in-room safe, ceiling fan, and an outdoor porch with a hammock and rocking chairs.

Lodge facilities include a swimming pool, tropical gardens, a restaurant, bar, beach access, outdoor lounge areas, and the only floating restaurant in the region, where guests can enjoy a delicious meal while cruising along the scenic canals.

Activities include boat tours, kayaking, canoeing, guided nature walks, night hikes, and visits to Tortuguero Hill, offering unforgettable wildlife and nature experiences.

Standard Rooms feature either one double and one single bed or three single beds, with garden views. Guests also enjoy free access to Mawamba Park, including private trails, a butterfly garden, and a frog farm.
