Estancia Arroyo Verde
Estancia Arroyo Verde is a family owned and managed Lodge, located on the world renowned River Traful and one of the first private estancias to open its doors to guests from around the world.
Situated within the Nahuel Huapi National Park in Northern Patagonia, it is just an hour and a half from the local airport, San Carlos de Bariloche. Nestled in the Traful valley, Estancia Arroyo Verde has for more than 35 years played host to guests seeking adventure in comfort and to discerning anglers, riders and hikers of all ages and abilities.
The amazing river Traful which runs for ten miles through the unspoilt beauty of Arroyo Verde is home to land-locked salmon, brown and rainbow trout. The surrounding Andes Mountains make for breathtaking horse riding, hiking excursions and bird watching. The Andean Condor is one of the most appreciated among all the birds of our estancia.
Overlooking the valley, the traditional wood and stone built houses are set in beautifully landscaped gardens with mature trees, shrubs and colorful borders. There are several outside seating areas to enjoy a drink before lunch or to watch the sunset.
