Garden Villa(s)
Segera's four Garden Villas all rest on stilts above the cactus boma wall, with thatched roofs and bleached wooden decks that look out across the plains with wildlife roaming past. The garden villas are set in landscaped botanical gardens centred around a vast swimming pool. The luxurious interiors have huge stone showers, extra large beds with billowing mosquito nets, and generous day beds that can be turned into romantic overnight sleep-outs. Every villa has en-suite bathrooms and a full range of deluxe amenities, an in-room bar and you’ll find WIFI throughout. Your villa is looked after by a dedicated villa attendant who will take care of your personal preferences and will help you to get the most out of your visit.
Family Garden Villa
One raised Family Garden Villa with thatched roof and wooden veranda looking out across Segera’s savannah plains and roaming wildlife. Luxurious interiors feature large stone showers, extra-large beds and billowing linen mosquito nets, while outside there are inviting outdoor baths and generous daybeds that can be turned into romantic overnight sleep outs. The Family Garden Villa features two en-suite bedrooms, a full range of deluxe amenities, an in-room bar and access to Segera’s undulating salt-water pool.
Garden House
Right in the heart of the lush Segera gardens and surrounded by its own private garden of bougainvillea tendrils, cactus and verdant growth, Garden House has a secluded, romantic feel. Huge windows and glassed doors allow the garden views to spill into the house and the main bedroom’s Juliette balcony opens into the foliage. This two-bedroomed, double-storey house also has a beautiful kitchen, double volume lounge and an incredible outdoor stone bath. It’s just a short stroll to the refreshing saltwater swimming pool and day lounge. You’ll also find a double day-bed that can be set up for beautiful sleep-outs in the warm Kenyan air.
Segera Greenhouse
The Greenhouse refracts with light through multiple glass windows and flickers with reflections from the surrounding gardens. Potted tropical plants and succulents enhance the feeling of the outdoors coming indoors. Soft flower-printed linens, layered bedding and green shades create a botanically inspired two-bedroomed house with a double volume shared dining table and lounge. Both bedrooms have elegant en-suite bathrooms and dappled views out towards the wild foothills beneath Mount Kenya. In the morning the whole house is flooded with copper-coloured light as the sun-rises over this wild, untamed landscape. This villa is perfect for a family or two couples travelling together.
Segera House
Segera House, is an elegant double-storey villa with 3 ensuite master bedrooms and a gorgeous private pool. Delightful views of grazing wildlife from the patio and bedroom balconies add to the intimate home-away-from-home safari experience. A gallery walkway links the two upstairs rooms with views down into the atrium-style lounge that opens onto a dining area and gorgeous private pool. The third bedroom opens directly onto the sun-kissed pool area and alfresco dining
patio. Elegant, contemporary furniture, safari-inspired tones and natural materials create a relaxed holiday feel—perfect for a multi-generational family or 3 couples travelling together.
Farmhouse
The Segera Farm House is your perfect family safari home, with its stunning sunrise views of Mount Kenya, beautiful interiors, huge lawned garden, private pool, multiple lounging and dining areas, as well as a fully equipped private kitchen.
The new Farm House was thoughtfully renovated from Segera's original ranch house, dating back to the 1940s, into a beautiful contemporary house - capturing old-world elegance with stylish, modern comfort. Enjoy the relaxed vibes of being at home with your friends and family, while enjoying the endless views across the vast African plains.
Villa Segera
This two-bedroomed, two-building villa is perfect for honeymooners or families wanting absolute privacy—both rooms are generously sized with lovely en-suite bathrooms. They’re built on stilts connected by suspended walkways and both hover above the open-air living and dining space alongside a beautiful private pool. One octagonally shaped bedroom and one square bedroom give multiple angles of views across the river, the plains and Mount Kenya beyond. The waterhole and salt-lick in front of the villa make it a wonderful place to sit and watch wildlife from your verandah.
