RATES INCLUDE:

• Rates are inclusive of accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, selected house beverages, laundry services, Wi-Fi, 1% service fee and return transfers (Lobo Airstrip).
• 1% Service fee is effective from 01 June 2027.
• Guests are entitled to participation in unlimited game drives (morning, afternoon and night drives) in a shared use 4 x 4 safari vehicle with a dedicated TAASA guide and tracker.
• TAASA moments: bush breakfast, sundowners, boma dinner and one cultural visit to the local Maasai village.

RATES EXCLUDE:

• All bookings are exclusive of;
• Flights, gratuities, items of a personal nature, any shop purchases, private vehicles, spa treatments, and any additional off-site activities.
• Additional packed lunch can be arranged by prior arrangement. Additional rates apply.
• Sole use of a private game vehicle: Pre-bookings are essential and subject to availability at time of booking. Additional rates apply.
• 1% Tourism Development Levy (TDL) is charged on the nett accommodation rate
• Government taxes: TAASA reserves the right to adjust rates based on Government tax adjustments.
• TAASA Concession Fees and Serengeti National Park Entry Fees which are charged per person per night (subject to concession regulations and subject to change without prior notice) 
• Rates exclude Tanzania Visa’s.

FIT BOOKING, PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

Bookings

• Provisional bookings are subject to availability and will expire automatically without notification as follows:
• Bookings made less than 30 days - Held for a maximum of 48 hours
• Bookings made between 31-60 days - Held for a maximum of 7 working days
• Bookings made more than 90 days - Held for a maximum of 14 working days
• If TAASA receives a reservation request that necessitates holding the booking, TAASA retains the right to request a 20% deposit within 48 hours.
• During periods of high demand, TAASA reserves the right to shorten the provisional booking period.

Payment

• A 20% deposit payment of accommodation value is required within 14 days of booking confirmation (please use the reservation number as reference when making payment).
• Full pre-payment (100%) is required 45 days prior to arrival.
• Full pre-payment (100%) is required on bookings made less than 45 days prior to arrival.
• Proof of payment is required to be sent to the reservations department at reservations@taasalodge.com
• TAASA reserves the right to release bookings should payment not be received by the requested date.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Only written cancellations will be accepted. An acknowledgement of the cancellation will be sent from the reservations department.
• Reservations which are cancelled and reduced in length of stay are subject to the following fees under the below terms:
• In the event a cancellation is made greater than 45 days prior to arrival, a full refund of any payment made, net of bank charges, will be issued.
• Between 45 – 31 days prior to arrival – 50% cancellation fee.
• 30 days or less prior to arrival – 100% cancellation fee.

GROUPS - BOOKING, PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

Bookings

• This policy applies to bookings of 8 tents or more.
• Final rooming list to be received 30 days prior to groups arrival.
• One FOC (free of charge) stay per 15 paying guests (excluding children) in a group. Concession and Serengeti National Park fees will be payable by the complimentary guest.
• Exclusive use rates are available on request.
• Provisional bookings are subject to availability and will expire automatically without notification as follows:
• Bookings made 45 - 60 days - Held for a maximum of 7 working days
• Bookings made more than 90 days - Held for a maximum of 14 working days

• A 10% non - refundable deposit is required within 14 days of booking confirmation to secure your reservation(please use the reservation number as reference when making payment).
• Full pre-payment (100%) is required 45 days prior to groups arrival.
• Bookings made less than 45 days prior to arrival (100%) full pre-payment is required.
• Proof of payment is required to be sent to the reservations department at reservations@taasalodge.com

Cancellation & Refund

Guide Rooms

CHILD POLICY:

• One child / two children up to the age of 11 years sharing with parents are accommodated on a roll away bed.
• One child between the ages of 12 - 17 years sharing with parents are accommodated on a roll away bed.
• One adult sharing with a child under the age of 17 years to be accommodated in one room. The adult per person sharing rate and child rate depending on age will apply.
• 3rd adult sharing is not permitted. An adult single room and double room is required to be booked.
• Baby cots are available on request at no additional charge.
• Children of all ages are welcome under parents supervision.

GENERAL:

• Bank and Credit Card Fee Charge: The full invoiced amount must be received, bank charges are therefore the responsibility of the remitter. For all payments made locally and internationally, select ‘OUR’ as payment details. You bear all charges of the payment, i.e., the remittance amount, the remitting bank’s charges, as well as all the other banks’ (correspondent, intermediary, and benificiary banks, ect.). The charges will be debited from your indicated amount after the exact amount has been indetified. For cases where we have ‘OUR’ arrangement with our correspondance, we will debit the agent charges upfront.
• Pricing Disclaimer: TAASA Rates, Serengeti National Park Fees and Concession Fees are subject to availability and are subject to change without prior notice.
• Minimum night stay: Minimum 2-night stay is required during high season months.
• Force Majeure: TAASA will not be liable to the agent or its client for any Act of God or ‘force majeure’ that disrupts a client(s) itinerary, any planned activities, or experience at or between any of the TAASA properties, even if this results in an inability to deliver the contracted service.
• Emergency Evacuation Coverage: A recommended $24.00 per person to be added to each booking for emergency evacuation coverage.

CONCESSION AND PARK FEES:

• TAASA Concession Fees and Serengeti National Park Entry Fees are excluded from TAASA rates, and are charged seperately on a per person per day basis (Calculated according to the nationality of the passport that the guest is travelling under).
• Non-commissionable, inclusive of TAX, and subject to change without prior notice.
• Refer to rate sheets under documents to view these fees.

OPTIONAL - MARA RIVER ASSISTED HOT LUNCH:

• Low Season Offering: Hot bush lunch alongside the Mara River.
