Condors Cross
Set off on an early-morning excursion to discover the "Lord of the Andes", the name given to the mighty condor in this part of Peru. Visit the Cruz del Condor (Condor's Cross) viewpoint and pass through the timeless villages of Yanque, Maca and Pinchollo.
On the way back, admire heavenly landscapes from the vantage points of Antahuilque and Choquetico. On reaching Maca, you'll be introduced to Juan el Bueno, a tame eagle.
Hike to the Hot Springs
Depart from the hotel for a 40-minute walk to Yanque, where you'll admire the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Visit families in their homes to witness and engage in local customs and daily activities, gleaning knowledge such as the properties of medicinal plants.
Finally, it's time to discover the hot springs, mineral-rich waters containing healing sulfur, lithium and iron. Enjoy a relaxing soak and emerge restored.
