Wilderness Etosha
Wilderness Etosha - Hide
Sunken and elevated hides at waterholes, on both the concession and in Etosha National Park, are built for quiet, unhurried observation and photography. Guests can sit in stillness as wildlife comes to drink, often at remarkably close range and entirely undisturbed by their presence.

Wilderness Etosha – Guided Nature Walks *
On foot with an expert guide, guests explore the private Hobatere Concession. Walks reveal the tracks, plants, insects and smaller details that are easily missed from a vehicle, with a focus on understanding animal behaviour, ecology and the landscape.
* Weather permitting and subject to the availability of a qualified walking guide.

Wilderness Etosha – Nature Drives
Day and night drives explore the private Hobatere Concession, and guides tailor each outing to guests' interests rather than following a fixed schedule.
Day drives also take guests along an approximately 38 kilometre loop in western Etosha National Park that is exclusive to Wilderness Etosha, as well as to the private Miernes (Ant's Nest) waterhole, for wildlife viewing away from the crowds. After dark, night drives on the concession reveal the nocturnal side of the wilderness, from creatures rarely seen by day to the extraordinary Namibian night sky.
