Khensani River Lodge, meaning ‘gratitude’ in Shangaan, is a newly established luxury lodge overlooking the Sand River MalaMala Game Reserve. The lodge features nine private luxury suites, each designed to offer a comfortable and considered conncetion to the surrounding wilderness.

The layout of Khensani River Lodge slopes gently towards the Sand River. Designed to maximise this proximity to the river, most of the living occurs on cascading decks located under the mature willow wattle trees. This unique lodge operates in partnership with the local community, offering a rich tapestry of cultural experiences and immersive guided activities.
