Located just two kilometres downstream from Lewa Wilderness, this lodge is run self-sufficiently with total independence, but maintains the tradition and legacy of where it originates from.

This private lodge comprises of five individual thatched cottages, set along the tranquil valley of the Eastern Marania River, each with their own picturesque view over the hills beyond. Complete with en-suite bathrooms, they can be arranged as either double or twin configuration, accommodating a maximum of ten guests simultaneously.

The main area sits nestled on the lower edge of valley and the open-front design provides beautiful views of the river below. Private Wilderness features a refined dining space, inviting living areas and a refreshing swimming pool, offering ample opportunity to relax and immerse into your natural surroundings.
