Nkuwa Wilderness Camp
Nkuwa Wilderness Camp offers an authentic, off-grid safari experience in the heart of the Selati Game Reserve, a vast Big Five wilderness bordering the Greater Kruger National Park. Covering over 27,500 hectares of pristine bushveld, the reserve provides a rare sense of space, solitude, and untamed beauty.
Nestled beneath a towering Sycamore Fig Tree, from which the camp takes its name, Nkuwa is designed to blend seamlessly into its natural surroundings. With a strong low-impact ethos, the camp celebrates simplicity, serenity, and a meaningful connection to the land.
Accommodation consists of just four en-suite safari tents, ensuring an intimate and unhurried stay. Each tent is thoughtfully positioned along a natural drainage line, offering privacy, comfort, and an immersive bush experience alive with birdsong and the distant calls of wildlife.
Guided game drives are led by experienced guides who share their deep knowledge of the area’s diverse wildlife and unique flora. Evenings are spent around the campfire beneath vast, star-filled skies, where guests can unwind, share stories, and savour the quiet magic of the African wilderness.
