The crystal clear Web River winds its way through the high altitude plateau of the Bale Mountains National Park. It is here that the highest density of the Critically Endangered Ethiopian Wolf is found. It is also the isolated location of the discreet Web Valley Expedition Camp.

Usually erected for groups of 6-8 guests, the camp typically consists of 3-4 mini-Meru tents (but can be made larger or smaller) and is only bookable on an exclusive use basis. Views to high mountains and rugged rock formations on either side of the valley grace each tent, and it is from this base that you explore the plateau on foot, by vehicle or on horseback in search of the wolves and other Afro-alpine endemics. Species like Mountain Nyala are found nowhere else in the world except this extended mountain massif, and a variety of other incredible creatures call the mountains home. The location of the camp is ideal for being in an area of high wolf density, but also because from here it is relatively easy to reach additional habitats like the Dinsho Woodlands and the Gaysay Grasslands.

Each mini-Meru tent is en-suite (with safari style bucket showers and ecofriendly flush toilet), with a mess tent and fire place the central focus of this rustic and adventurous mountain camp.
