Others

Within a 2 hour drive there are several significant places of interest, including the Fish River Canyon, Africa's largest canyon by far, the Giants Playground which is a remarkable landscape resembling huge toy bricks stacked on one another, the Quiver Tree Forest which is best seen in June and July for its yellow flowers, Brukaros Volcanic Crater which is spectacular despite being extinct and the Ai-Ais Hot Springs are what they say but are closed November to February due to extreme temperatures.
