Snorkelling & Island Picnics
Where We Go:
Most snorkelling & picnic experiences take place within the protected Inhaca Island Marine Reserve, home to pristine coral reefs, crystal-clear waters & abundant marine life.
Explore:
Marine Reserve Reef – Easy shore-entry snorkelling.
Coral Gardens Reef – Accessible by boat or a longer swim.
Lodge Reef – Located directly in front of the lodge, offering excellent marine life in slightly deeper water.
Keep an eye out for colourful reef fish, turtles, moray eels, nudibranchs & even historic shipwrecks.
Important Safety Information:
Never touch or stand on the coral reef. It is extremely fragile & grows very slowly.
Please avoid contact with the reef using your fins.
Do not snorkel on the lodge reef during an outgoing tide, as strong currents can carry swimmers towards the open ocean.
