Soroi Amboseli
Amboseli is one of the few places on earth where the landscape does the talking. The plains run wide and pale bleached salt flat and dust, silence broken only by the movement of elephants through the fever trees. Above it all, Kilimanjaro rises without ceremony: white cap, blue sky, nothing else needed. Soroi Amboseli sits within a forested enclave at the heart of the park. The tents face the mountain. So does everything else here the rhythm of the mornings, the angle of the light, the particular quality of stillness that arrives just before the herd crosses the pan.
