DAY 5: Journey to the Cultural Heart of Bulawayo (Approx. 4-5 hours driving)

After an early breakfast, depart Malindi Station Camp for your drive to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe's second-largest city and a place rich in history and culture. Upon arrival, check into your comfortable bed and breakfast and spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure, perhaps exploring the city center.

DAY 6: Rhino Encounters & Matobo's Majesty

Today, you'll be collected by a local guide for a morning excursion to the remarkable Matobo Hills National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you'll have the extraordinary opportunity for a larger-than-life white rhino encounter on foot with professional guides, an experience you won't soon forget. You'll also have the option to visit the iconic "World's View," the resting place of Cecil John Rhodes, offering breathtaking panoramic vistas. A stop at a local community curio market is also a must. After lunch, the afternoon is yours to either take a guided tour of Bulawayo's central curio market or relax by the pool at your B&B. Consider making interesting stops along the way to break up the journey and experience local life. Upon arrival at Cutty Sark, check into your accommodation and enjoy the afternoon relaxing by the lake.

Cutty Sark Hotel – Your Lakeside Retreat

Ideally situated on the lake shore of one of Africa’s most beautiful Lakes, the newly renovated Cutty Sark Lodge is ready to satisfy all of your holiday needs. We have several different size units that can accommodate couples, families or large groups, with a mixture of hotel type bedrooms and self-catering apartments from 1 to 4 bedrooms. Cutty Sark is situated on the shore of the world's largest man-made lake; Lake Kariba. Built in the 1960's just 10 years after the construction of the Kariba Dam wall Cutty Sark was a popular stop for a lake side holiday all throughout the 80's and 90's. In its Peak Kariba had lots to offer to tourists and holiday makers. with its stunning natural surroundings, abundance of wildlife and vibrant community. In the early 2000's Zimbabwe went though many changes and Kariba took a huge hit. Many businesses including Cutty Sark were forced to close, However in 2007 Cutty Sark was bought and renovations began. Most major renovations were completed in 2022 when new management arrived to bring Cutty Sark back to its former glory.

Ideally situated on the lake shore of one of Africa’s most beautiful Lakes, the newly renovated Cutty Sark Lodge is ready to satisfy all of your holiday needs. We have several different size units that can accommodate couples, families or large groups, with a mixture of hotel type bedrooms and self-catering apartments from 1 to 4 bedrooms. Cutty Sark is situated on the shore of the world's largest man-made lake; Lake Kariba. Built in the 1960's just 10 years after the construction of the Kariba Dam wall Cutty Sark was a popular stop for a lake side holiday all throughout the 80's and 90's. In its Peak Kariba had lots to offer to tourists and holiday makers. with its stunning natural surroundings, abundance of wildlife and vibrant community. In the early 2000's Zimbabwe went though many changes and Kariba took a huge hit. Many businesses including Cutty Sark were forced to close, However in 2007 Cutty Sark was bought and renovations began. Most major renovations were completed in 2022 when new management arrived to bring Cutty Sark back to its former glory.

DAY 5: Kariba's Tranquility & Exploration

Enjoy a full day to explore Lake Kariba at your own pace. Options include a boat cruise on the lake, fishing excursions, or simply relaxing by the pool and enjoying the views.

DAY 6: Flight to Mana Pools' Wildlife Paradise

After breakfast at Cutty Sark, you'll be transferred to the airstrip for your seat-in-charter flight to Mana Pools National Park. Upon arrival, you'll be met by a representative from Chitembe Main Camp, your home for the next three nights. Settle into your luxurious tent overlooking the Zambezi River and prepare for exceptional wildlife encounters. Enjoy an afternoon game drive or boat cruise.

DAY 7 & 8: Exploring Mana Pools' Wonders

Enjoy two full days to immerse yourselves in the incredible wildlife of Mana Pools with the guided activities offered by Chitembe Main Camp. These typically include thrilling game drives, insightful bush walks, and unique boat cruises along the Zambezi River. You may also have the opportunity for picnic breakfasts or lunches in the bush and scenic sundowners.

DAY 9: Departure

After a final early morning activity and breakfast at Chitembe Main Camp, you'll be transferred to the airstrip for your onward flight to either Harare or back to Victoria Falls, carrying with you incredible memories of your diverse Zimbabwean safari adventure.

All bookings must be made in writing to the Company or through the Company’s website and must
include at least the following information:
1.1. full names and nationality of Guests;
1.2. dates for which bookings are made;
1.3. number of rooms; and
1.4. Special dietary requirements (if applicable);.

PAYMENTS INSTRUCTIONS :
All payments must precede per our terms and conditions.
Complete payment via Bank transfer for the FULL invoiced amount, mindful of bank charges.

BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS
Provisional bookings are held for two weeks, automatically released if unconfirmed.
A 30% non-refundable deposit is necessary to confirm a provisional booking.
For confirmed bookings, full payment is due 60 days before travel.
If confirmed within the 60-day period, the full amount (100%) is payable upon booking.
Cancellations follow the policy below.
No cancellations or amendments without written notification.
Payments must be free of bank charges, borne by the payer.
BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY
The following cancellation policy applies to bookings for Zimbabwe Safari Collective camps and
services:
• 30% cancellation fee (deposit forfeit) from confirmation to 70 days prior to travel;
• 75% cancellation fee if cancelled 59 days prior to travel;
• 100% cancellation fee if cancelled 60 days or less prior to travel and any no-shows.
