CORDILLERA ROUTE

We set off from our camp to journey across 81 km of ever-changing landscapes: striking geological formations, the vast Puya de Raimondi forest, and the highest point at 4,600 m.a.s.l. We then descend to Vilavila to visit its lagoon and waterfall before continuing to Palca, where local artisans preserve the traditional art of alpaca textile weaving. The route follows the river, leading us to Lampa, home to the majestic Temple of Santiago.
