Wild Hill

Game drive in the Mara Conservancies

(INCLUDED)

Explore Enonkishu Conservancy on your doorstep, just at the base of the hill from Wild Hill, on game drives with expert safari guides in modern open-sided Land Cruiser vehicles. Wildlife here is diverse and abundant, with everything from crowd-pleasing prides of lion and herds of elephant, and the elusive leopard, to more unusual sightings such as bat-eared fox and serval. Go for a morning or afternoon drive, stop off for a morning coffee or evening sundowner, or pack a picnic breakfast if you wish. Guests can also explore the neighbouring conservancies Lemek and Ol Chorro, each different in terrain but similarly unspoilt with very limited vehicle numbers, and plentiful wildlife and birdlife to discover.

Rhino sanctuary

Just at the base of the hill where Wild Hill sits, you'll find the Ol Chorro Rhino Sanctuary. Here guests can experience an extraordinary chance to walk with rhinos, one of the few places on the African continent that this is possible. There are two white rhinos in the sanctuary and you will be accompanied and guided on distance and safety by armed rangers. The rhinos are wild but habituated to visitors, named Queen Elizabeth and Kofi Annan, and are under 24hr watch and care by the rangers for their safety.
