The Intermission is an exhibition program and space located in the city of Piraeus, Greece. It was initiated by Artemis Baltoyanni in September 2019. Artists are invited to occupy the space with specific projects in partnership with their representing gallery, when there is one. The Intermission also helps realize new productions. While they do not represent artists directly, they aim to cultivate dynamic collaborations. This new model allows for free-spirited and unconventional programming to meet the ever-changing needs of the community. Visitors can explore critically acclaimed artists, both emerging and established, at The Intermission.
